    I Recently stayed at the Oriental Res for 9 nights and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this place. I have travelled to Bangkok many times and have stayed at many of the other luxury hotels but the Oriental Res is truly special. The hotel is beautiful, the pool is superb, the rooms are perfect the food was delicious and the staff was wonderful, catering to my every need. Special thanks to Patrick and Lilly!!....The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Although a 10 min walk to the bts the hotel offers a free shuttle service. This place is as close to perfection as it gets...what else can I say....I'll be back in a few months!

    The oriental residence is a brand new hotel very luxury hotel and the staff is friendly big time.

    The room is very clean , the food quality is perfect , house keeping and room service is above the standard .

    Room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly.

    Concierge recommended what they thought as foreigners we should like, even when we asked time and time again for a local experience. They actually mistakingly told a private car hire to go to the wrong place which was an hour and a half in the wrong direction, so we wasted a lot of one day. Also, public transport is horrendous in Bangkok and Taxis (while cheap) are unreliable and can scam you, so if you prefer to be in walking distance of some of the better sites in Bangkok I suggest staying in Riverside or Chinatown.

    It is the best hotel I ever stayed in Bangkok. everything is perfect - location, room decoration and equipment, service desk and other staff very positive and helpful.

    The breakfast was a little bit disapointing (choice of dishes and strange mix of a la carte and self service)
